Wouldn’t it be great if you could apply Photoshop-style effects to your images in just a few seconds? That’s exactly what Acqualia’s Picturesque does and the good news is that it’s got a wallet-friendly price tag.
You will find five of the most commonly used effects for web graphics available as pre-sets right within Picturesque and you won’t need any technical know-how in order to use them. Perspective – Just drag the slides and see your image rotate in real-time on-screen. This effect is used to create a different perspective view of your image. Curve – You can add rounded corners to your images using this effect. Just tick the corners you want modifying, adjust the curvature, and see the changes appear straight away.
Stroke – This effect adds a border to your image and gives you control over the colour and width of the border.
A few other features in Picturesque include the ability to crop the image, create presets and adjust the resolution/size of the image. Picturesque also taps into your iLife Media browser so you can pull images from iPhoto directly into the picture editor.
